Engineering Specialist - Carpenter II

Role Overview

Responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and furnishings within a hospitality environment, ensuring safety, quality, and brand standards.

Responsibilities Include

• Developing project layouts and estimating materials.
• Constructing and repairing hotel structures using various materials like wood, fiberglass, and drywall.
• Operating hand and power tools to assemble or fix furniture, cabinets, doors, windows, and fixtures.
• Ensuring structural accuracy with measuring tools and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
• Participating in training and adhering to safety regulations.
• Supporting departmental goals through additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications \& Skills

• At least two years of professional carpentry experience, preferably in commercial or hospitality settings.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and procedural documents.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver's License.
