Frontend Engineer

An innovative organisation in the national security and cyber technology space is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer. You will be a high-output engineer building mission-critical operator experiences, implementing complex, high-performance interfaces that visualize real-time data with speed and precision. This role involves contributing to architecture decisions and owning significant features end-to-end to support secure operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build sophisticated React and TypeScript features and components that operate reliably at scale.
• Implement real-time UI experiences for complex data, optimizing for speed and clarity.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and design decisions alongside cross-functional teammates.
• Build and maintain interactive visualization components such as graphs, timelines, and streaming views.
• Identify and address performance issues, technical debt, and reliability gaps proactively.

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 to 8 years of professional frontend software development experience.
• Strong, production-tested expertise in React.js and TypeScript.
• Experience building and shipping features for performance at scale, including profiling and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks like Vitest, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States and comfortable working in high-stakes environments.
