Job Description
We are seeking a Web Developer to support the Information Services team of a well-established professional services organization with a large operational footprint in New York. This is a full-time position focused on developing and maintaining internal web applications used across business operations. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Microsoft-based web development frameworks and enjoys collaborating with internal stakeholders to build reliable, scalable solutions. U.S. work authorization is required. No visa sponsorship is available at this time.
Job Title: Web Developer (.NET / ASP.NET MVC)
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop web applications and internal modules using ASP.NET MVC and related Microsoft development frameworks
- Write and maintain application code for both new development initiatives and enhancements to existing systems while adhering to established coding standards
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other developers to ensure quality, consistency, and maintainability of applications
- Work with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, gather requirements, and support the ongoing improvement of internal systems
- Provide recommendations to improve existing development standards, workflows, and application performance
- Coordinate with external vendors or consultants when supporting integrations or external software platforms
- Provide regular project updates and communicate risks or timeline impacts to leadership and project stakeholders
Required Skills \& Experience
- 3\+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on backend or full-stack web application development
- Strong experience with C#.NET and ASP.NET MVC for building web applications
- Experience with JavaScript and modern front-end technologies such as TypeScript, jQuery, Angular, or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, XML, and relational database development using T-SQL
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and support system improvements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in software development
Compensation
- Base Salary: $135,000 - $165,000 \+ Full Comprehensive Benefits
Additional Information
- Hybrid work environment with candidates expected to be located within commuting distance of New York City
- Must be authorized to work in the United States — no visa sponsorship available
- Experience supporting enterprise internal systems or professional services environments is a plus
