Auxo Frontier are supporting a New Space Spacecraft technology organization based in

Los Angeles

in their pursuit of a

Spacecraft focussed Electrical Engineer

.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, assembly, integration, and testing of electrical systems and hardware for advanced satellite platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design, integrate, and test spacecraft electrical interfaces, including printed circuit boards and wiring harnesses.
  • Develop avionics subsystems and engineering testbeds with a strong focus on reliability, manufacturability, and verification.
  • Create and execute electrical integration and test procedures.
  • Support the design, fabrication, and utilization of electrical ground support equipment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate computing and power systems with other spacecraft subsystems.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain thorough documentation of designs, test activities, and system performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and training on spacecraft flight and test configurations, fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Five or more years of experience in electrical engineering within aerospace or a comparable industry, with significant hands-on involvement in spacecraft hardware assembly and testing.
  • Proficiency with PCB design tools and workflows.
  • Demonstrated expertise in PCB bring-up and debugging using laboratory instrumentation and rework equipment.
  • Familiarity with recognized aerospace environmental verification standards.
  • Experience working in clean-room environments and following electrostatic discharge (ESD) best practices.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced technical setting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
