They are building disruptive technology designed to streamline enterprise workflows and are looking for a foundational member of their sales team. This is a high-impact role where you will be instrumental in shaping the company’s go-to-market strategy.
The Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers. We are looking for a high-energy, intellectually curious professional who thrives in a fast-paced, builder environment. You will be responsible for identifying high-value leads, initiating meaningful conversations, and building a robust sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Prospecting:
Identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, personalized emailing, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Strategic Research:
Conduct deep-dive research into target accounts and personas to deliver highly tailored value propositions.
- Pipeline Management:
Manage and track all sales activities within the CRM to ensure a seamless handoff to Account Executives.
- Market Feedback:
Act as a "boots on the ground" resource, providing the product and marketing teams with insights from the field.
Qualifications
- Experience:
1–2 years of SDR or BDR experience, preferably within the B2B SaaS sector.
- Startup DNA:
Proven track record of success in an early-stage environment. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and evolving processes.
- Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you can distill complex technical concepts into simple, persuasive language.
- Grit:
A never-say-die attitude and the resilience to handle the high-rejection nature of outbound sales.
