Overview
We are seeking a Head of Technology to serve as a strategic driver of our next phase of growth
for our intelligent compliance platform. Reporting to the co-CEOs, you will own the technical
roadmap and execution for our growing product portfolio. You will be responsible for maturing
our delivery lifecycle, implementing modern AI-assisted development workflows and product
capabilities, and ensuring our technical execution represents our mission-driven product vision
and internal values of accountability and tenacity.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Execution: Own technical strategy and engineering outcomes end-to-end.
- We're looking for a driver who proactively eliminates bottlenecks, surfaces status before being asked, and ensures high commitment fidelity on all product milestones.
- Portfolio Management: Drive the convergence of Ethico’s multi-product platform into the unified ECOSystem GRC vision, ensuring high availability and performance across all business lines.
- AI Integration: Act as a pioneer for AI-forward engineering, implementing AI as a force multiplier to increase developer velocity and drive intelligent compliance features within the platform.
- Global Team Orchestration: Right-size and evolve our engineering organization, including a deliberate shift from an offshore-heavy delivery model toward a leaner, more onshore-weighted structure, building a management layer scoped appropriately to our team size and budget.
- Compliance \& Trust: Safeguard the sensitive data of 10M\+ users by maintaining our SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA-compliant infrastructure.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Product and Ops as a strategic peer to ensure the technical roadmap supports Ethico’s long-term growth targets.
Requirements
- Scale-Up Success: Proven success in a leadership role at a B2B SaaS company through the $20M-$100M ARR transition.
- Portfolio Complexity Experience: A track record of managing multiple product lines simultaneously, including the successful balancing of legacy modernization with new product innovation.
- Global Team Management: Experience managing a mix of U.S.-based functional leads and offshore development partners.
- AI-Forward Strategy: Experience implementing, driving transformation, and using AI as a force multiplier to improve internal operations and customer-facing product value.
- Technical Foundation: Familiarity with enterprise-grade cloud architectures (we run .NET, SQL, Azure) and a deep understanding of data security in regulated, multi-tenant environments.
- Stakeholder Orchestration: Serve as a decisive, people-centric communicator who distills complex technical topics into transparent, actionable insights for the executive team, the Board of Directors, and customers.

Location
Remote, must be Eastern/Central Time based.
Salary Range
$250,000-$320,000, plus annual bonus.
