Job Description
We’re looking for a Design Manager.
Not the kind that simply manages tasks.
The kind that manages momentum.

This role will work directly alongside the Design Director to help lead our residential, commercial, and procurement departments across multiple active projects.
We’re looking for someone who is equally comfortable reviewing millwork details, leading a client presentation, managing project timelines, coordinating procurement deliverables, mentoring designers, and holding a team accountable to deadlines and standards.
Someone who can walk into complexity and create clarity.
Someone who understands that leadership is not about ego.

WHAT YOU’LL HELP LEAD:
Project \& Team Management
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and team accountability across multiple active projects
- Help manage weekly priorities, internal deadlines, and project schedules
- Ensure projects stay on track financially, operationally, and creatively
- Support billing KPI goals, tracked hours, and resource allocation
- Coordinate workflow between design, drafting, procurement, and construction teams
- Lead internal project reviews and help maintain YossiG standards across all deliverables
- Identify project risks early and proactively solve problems before escalation
- Help streamline systems, communication, and operational processes within the studio
- Mentor and guide designers while helping elevate team performance and accountability
High-End Residential \& Commercial Design Responsibilities
- Review and guide space planning layouts for luxury residential and multifamily projects
- Oversee design presentations, material palettes, FF\&E selections, and overall project direction
- Coordinate custom millwork, stone, lighting, plumbing, and architectural detailing
- Review drawing sets and ensure alignment between design intent and technical execution
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors throughout all project phases
- Conduct showroom visits, site visits, and installation walkthroughs
- Review procurement schedules, vendor coordination, and lead times
- Ensure projects maintain both aesthetic excellence and practical buildability
- Help manage client communication, meeting follow-ups, approvals, and expectations
- Maintain a high level of organization across specifications, budgets, and project documentation
WHO YOU ARE:
- 8\+ years of experience in high-end residential and/or multifamily interior design
- Strong leadership presence with experience managing teams and large-scale projects
- Deep understanding of luxury residential detailing, construction, and procurement processes
- Strong knowledge of materials, millwork, FF\&E, budgeting, and technical coordination
- Highly organized and operationally minded without losing creativity
- Able to balance multiple projects, personalities, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
- Strong communicator with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams
- Someone who naturally takes ownership and follows through

We’re not looking for someone to simply manage projects.
We’re looking for someone to help lead a studio.
Salary Range: $95,000\.00 - $125,000\.00 per year plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.

Our Interview Process:
We interview with 4-5 meetings total in a span of 2-3 weeks. Our interview process is as follows:
- Initial Call with Design Director over Zoom
- In-Person Meeting with Design Director and HR
- In-Person Meeting to finalize details with CEO \& Design Director
