Engineering Design Manager, EIC

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Design Manager – Electrical, Instrumentation \& Controls (EIC) to lead a team of designers and drafters supporting industrial engineering projects. This role combines technical design expertise with team leadership, resource planning, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and prioritize the work of drafting and design team members.
• Partner with Project Managers and Engineers to meet project schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
• Forecast workloads and allocate resources across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 10\+ years of electrical, instrumentation, and controls design experience.
• Develop and review electrical layouts, cable tray systems, 3D models, and design deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and safety practices.
• Review design packages for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
• Mentor designers and support continuous improvement initiatives, including CAD efficiency tools.
• 2\+ years of supervisory or design team leadership experience.

Pay: $100,000\.00 - $130,000\.00 per year
