Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About Us

B2B quick-commerce platform delivering construction materials to active project sites within 60 minutes. We're an early-stage, fast-moving team — you'll be the first QA hire.

What you'll own

• End-to-end testing across backend APIs, ops dashboard (web), and consumer mobile app (React Native)

• Write and maintain automation test suites (API \+ UI) from scratch

• Own the QA process: test plans, test cases, regression suites, bug reports

• Work directly with the backend engineer on integration and edge case coverage

• Validate every release before it goes to staging and production

• Performance and load testing for critical flows (ordering, payments, inventory)

• Maintain a living defect tracker — priority, severity, resolution status

Must have

• 3\+ years in QA — manual \+ automation both

• Strong in API testing: Postman, REST, HTTP status codes, JSON payloads, webhook flows

* Automation: Playwright or Cypress (web), Appium or Detox (mobile)

• Clear, structured bug reports — reproduction steps, expected vs actual, severity

• Has worked in a product startup before — no hand-holding, owns the QA process

Good to have

• Familiarity with AWS (S3, SQS, ECS) for infra-level testing

• Experience testing payment flows (Razorpay or Stripe)

• Basic understanding of CI/CD — knows how to plug tests into a GitHub Actions pipeline

• Experience with PostgreSQL — ability to write queries to verify data correctness
