JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Facility Contract Supervisor, the Facility Contract Representative is
responsible for the billing, follow-up, and collections on all facility responsible transports.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Perform an initial review, bill and follow-up with associated facilities on all payor responsible
ambulance transports.
- Review correspondence received from facilities and work accounts as necessary.
- Follow all company and department specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Review, print, mail, and email facility invoices on a daily, weekly or monthly basis based on the
terms of the contract and SOPs.
- Maintain accurate records and files related to invoices, billing, follow-up, and reporting.
- Receive and make inbound and outbound telephone calls/emails from and to facilities as
necessary to obtain billing information and payment
