Captiva Developer

We are seeking a Captiva Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise document capture solutions using the OpenText Intelligent Capture (formerly Captiva) suite. You will be responsible for automating complex document ingestion, data extraction, and integration with downstream enterprise systems to drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture: Design and develop end-to-end capture flows (XPPs) using Captiva Designer and Advanced Recognition/Dispatcher for automated classification and extraction.
• Custom Development: Write and maintain custom scripts in C#, . NET, and VBA for data validation, image processing, and custom module behaviors.
• Module Configuration: Configure and optimize standard and advanced modules.
• Integration: Develop interfaces between Captiva and enterprise repositories like OpenText Documentum or SQL databases.
• Support: Troubleshoot batch errors, perform root cause analysis for production issues, and provide technical guidance to end-users.

Requirements

• Primary Platform: 3-5\+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText Captiva/Intelligent Capture (v20 x or higher preferred).
• Languages: Proficiency in C#, . NET Framework, VB. NET, and SQL.
• Advanced Recognition: Expertise in dispatcher project design, including HPA, keyword rules, and regular expressions.
• APIs: Experience with Captiva Real Time Services and REST/SOAP web services.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle complex document scenarios.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications for stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to performance optimization and workflow efficiency.
