Job Description

GTM Engineer \| San Francisco

Comp: $200K base \+ bonus \+ equity

Location: San Francisco (in-person)

Stage: Profitable -Series A ($25M from a top-tier VC)

The Company:

Building the execution layer for AI agents. The platform connects AI to 1,000\+ apps — handling auth, orchestration, permissions, and observability — so agents can actually

do

things, not just think about them. 25,000\+ GitHub stars. SOC Type II compliant. Shipping at a pace that makes most Series B companies look slow.

If you've used MCP tooling, built agentic workflows, or automated anything non-trivial with Claude, you've probably already touched their infrastructure.

The Role

This isn't a marketing ops hire who'll spend their days in HubSpot building nurture sequences. This is an engineering-minded GTM role for someone who builds things that compound. You'll own the automation of the inbound SDR motion; designing, building, and scaling the systems that qualify, route, and engage inbound leads before a human ever needs to touch them. Think AI-native pipeline generation, not traditional demand gen playbooks.

You will:

  • Architect and build automated inbound SDR workflows using Claude, the company's own tooling, and whatever else gets the job done
  • Design AI-powered lead qualification, enrichment, and routing systems that operate at the speed of the product
  • Prototype and ship GTM tools and internal apps that make the revenue team disproportionately effective
  • Instrument, measure, and iterate: treat the funnel like a product, not a spreadsheet
  • Work at the intersection of engineering and go-to-market, translating business problems into automated solutions
  • Collaborate directly with product and engineering to dogfood the platform and push it forward

The Profile

  • You live in Claude

.

Not as a novelty but as a daily operating environment. You prompt, you build, you automate, you iterate. Claude is your IDE, your co-pilot, and your force multiplier.

  • You've built real things: automations, internal tools, integrations, and AI workflows, not just talked about building them.
  • You understand the mechanics of inbound: lead scoring, qualification frameworks, routing logic, CRM architecture, and how all of that should work when machines are doing 80% of the work.
  • You can write code (Python, JS, whatever) well enough to ship, and you're comfortable with APIs, webhooks, and integration plumbing.
  • You have strong opinions on how AI should be applied to GTM, and you've already tested most of them.
  • You thrive in early-stage environments where your work this week directly changes the business's trajectory.

Why This Role Is Interesting

Most GTM Engineer roles are glorified marketing ops positions with a trendy title. This one isn't.

This company is building the infrastructure layer that AI agents use to interact with the real world. The person in this seat will use that very infrastructure to automate their own function and in doing so, become the most visible proof point for the product.

You're not joining to run playbooks. You're joining to build the machine.
