Job Description

This role will report into the

Woodbury, New York

(Long Island) office on a hybrid basis (2-3 days per week, with flexibility.)

POSITION SUMMARY: This position involves day-to-day responsibilities that require independent judgment and discretion, contributing to the department's ongoing success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS \& BASIC DUTIES: (This job specification may not include all the duties listed, nor do the examples cover all the duties that may be performed.)

· Use various Salesforce products to implement solutions that automate operations and support sales and servicing staff with their day-to-day operations.

· Onboard clients onto our Salesforce-based risk management portal.

· Present the benefits of our client-facing portals to prospective and existing clients.

· Interact with coworkers and clients to gather requirements, design and build solutions.

· Build reports within Salesforce and related technologies.

· Research the use of new technologies and products related to Salesforce to improve business processes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Salesforce administration including Sales Cloud, custom objects, flow, automation and reporting

· Salesforce development technologies including Visualforce, Apex, SOQL and Lightning Components is a plus

· Complimentary technologies such as CSS, SQL and JavaScript are a plus

· Knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Strong organization and research skills

· Ability to work as a team player

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or the equivalent in work experience
