Field CISO – Identity Security & Governance

TechDemocracy is expanding its Identity Security leadership team and is seeking a Field CISO focused on Identity Security \& Governance to drive strategic growth across key and emerging accounts.

About the Role

This role operates at the intersection of executive advisory, solution leadership, and revenue growth. You will serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CISOs, and business leaders, helping organizations transform their identity programs into core security controls aligned with Zero Trust, compliance, and risk-reduction objectives. This is not a pure presales role; it is a market-facing thought leadership position responsible for shaping strategy, influencing buying decisions, and ensuring the successful execution of enterprise IAM programs.

Responsibilities

• Executive Advisory \& Thought Leadership
• Act as a strategic advisor to CIOs, CISOs, and security leaders on Identity Security transformation
• Lead executive discussions on IGA maturity, Zero Trust, Agentic AI, Non-Human Identity (NHI), and risk-based access
• Translate IAM capabilities into business outcomes, compliance alignment, and measurable risk reduction
• Represent TechDemocracy in industry conversations, client forums, and strategic pursuits

• Revenue Growth \& Strategic Sales Leadership
• Lead IAM pursuits and drive revenue growth across strategic and new accounts
• Own and shape deal strategy, solution positioning, and executive messaging
• Drive RFP/RFI responses, proposals, pricing strategy, and deal closure
• Align solutions with customer business drivers, not just technical requirements

• Solution Architecture \& Innovation
• Architect and position enterprise IAM solutions across: Identity Governance (SailPoint IIQ / ISC, Saviynt EIC), Access Management \& CIAM, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Directory \& Identity Infrastructure
• Develop high-level and low-level architectures aligned to enterprise environments
• Lead POCs, demos, and solution workshops with a focus on business value
• Guide adoption of emerging capabilities (Cloud IAM, CIEM, NHI governance)
• Program Leadership \& Delivery Alignment
• Drive IAM transformation programs, including Identity lifecycle (JML), Access governance \& certifications, Compliance and audit readiness
• Partner with delivery teams to ensure feasible, scalable, and successful implementations
• Provide executive oversight across key engagements

Qualifications

• 14\+ years of experience in IAM / Identity Security / Cybersecurity

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in: SailPoint (IIQ / ISC), Saviynt (EIC / IGA), Identity Governance, Access Management, and PAM
• Proven track record in: Presales, solution selling, and closing enterprise deals
• Influencing executive stakeholders and leading strategic conversations
• Strong understanding of: Zero Trust Architecture, Compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, SAMA, etc.)
• Experience working with global clients and distributed teams
• Ability to lead across sales, delivery, and partner ecosystems
• Strong commercial acumen (pricing, licensing, deal structuring)
• Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
