Data Engineer

About The Opportunity

IntePros is partnering with a fast growing, technology driven organization in the hospitality and customer experience space to hire a Data Engineer. This role will support the development of modern cloud data pipelines that power analytics, reporting, and business insights.

You’ll join a collaborative product focused team where data plays a direct role in operational performance and customer strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines using Python and SQL
• Support development of data models in DBT for analytics use cases
• Write and optimize SQL queries in a cloud data warehouse environment
• Work with structured and semi structured data from multiple source systems
• Assist with performance tuning and data quality checks
• Partner with analytics and product teams to translate business needs into reliable datasets
• Participate in code reviews and team best practices

What We’re Looking For

• 2 to 4 years of experience working with SQL in a production environment
• 1 to 3 years of Python experience, including data manipulation with Pandas
• Exposure to Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Experience working with DBT or strong interest in learning it
• Hands on experience with Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar platforms
• Foundational understanding of data modeling concepts

Hybrid role based in Toronto. Candidates must already be located in the GTA and able to work onsite three days per week.
