About You

The Junior Electrical Technician supports the installation, wiring, and maintenance of solar power systems. The role focuses on executing electrical connections and assisting with rooftop mounting of solar panels, ensuring installations meet safety and quality standards

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of solar PV systems, including panels, inverters, and batteries
• Perform electrical wiring, cabling, and connections for solar installations
• Support roof mounting of solar panels, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening
• Read and interpret basic electrical diagrams and installation layouts
• Conduct routine system checks and basic troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Assist senior technicians during site inspections and maintenance activities
• Document installation progress and report issues to supervisors

Requirements

• OND in Electrical Engineering or Technical Certificate from Recognised Technical Institutes
• 2 years’ experience in electrical or solar installations
• Basic knowledge of solar energy systems
• Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and in outdoor environments
• Familiarity with electrical tools and safety practices
• Teamwork and communication skills
