What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Submit timely and accurate invoices to payers for products and services provided
• Evaluate payments received and apply them accurately to patient accounts
• Follow up on submitted invoices to ensure prompt payment and address any issues
• Ensure compliance with policies and guidelines related to billing and reimbursement
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 0 - 6 months of previous Infusion Reimbursement or Intake/Admissions experience
• Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for document and data management
• Ability to understand and apply billing terms and fee schedules
• Strong attention to detail in processing invoices and payments

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in a healthcare-related billing or reimbursement role
• Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and compliance standards
• Strong communication skills to effectively follow up with payers and patients
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology related to infusion services
