2\. About the Opportunity:
The Care Administrative Coordinator plays a key role in managing service requests and authorizations to support timely and effective healthcare delivery. This position is responsible for coordinating between hospitals, facilities, clinical teams, members, and providers. The role helps maintain smooth operations that directly contribute to connecting people with the healthcare services they need.
3\. Responsibilities:
- Manage intake authorizations
- Coordinate requests for services with hospitals, facilities, and clinical teams
- Process incoming faxes and authorizations, including admission notifications
- Address inquiries and resolve issues from members and providers
- Perform additional duties as assigned
4\. Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
- Minimum age of 18 years
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Experience in the healthcare industry and with health insurance
- Proficiency with computers and Windows-based programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work full-time with a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and possible overtime
- Preferred: Experience in independent physician administration or health plan environments
- Preferred: Authorization management experience
- Preferred: Clerical or administrative support experience
- Must reside in WA, OR, NV, CA, MT, ID, WY, UT, CO, AZ, or NM
- Ability to maintain security of sensitive documents (if applicable)
- Dedicated, private work area with information privacy
- Access to approved high-speed internet connection
5\. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Hourly pay ranges from $17\.98 to $32\.12 based on full-time employment and factors such as location, education, experience, and certifications
- Benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions, subject to eligibility
