We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
- Design, build, and maintain production-quality iOS features in Swift for sensor-rich, interactive mobile experiences.
- Collaborate with applied scientists, ML engineers, and designers to transform prototypes into shippable products.
- Integrate and optimize camera, sensor, and real-time processing flows, guiding users through complex workflows.
- Apply modern iOS architecture patterns (SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency, dependency injection, modularization).
- Drive quality through testing, metrics, and logging, working closely with backend teams.
- Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and mentoring of engineering talent.
What You'll Need
- 5\+ years of mobile app development experience, with 3\+ years focused on iOS.
- Proven experience taking software from prototype to production in complex problem spaces.
- Strong proficiency in Swift, including SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency.
- Experience with ARKit, 3D graphics, computer vision, or on-device ML is a plus.
- Skilled in building apps with complex capture or scanning workflows.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional partners.
