Job Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Procurement:
1\. Research on market trends;
2\. Follow marketing direction and goal to seek out potential product or line of products;
3\. Analyze sales trends to ensure balance of supply and demand
4\. Collaborate with other teams to determine potential vendors and/or suppliers;
5\. General purchasing orders to ensure timely delivery of products;
6\. Use data and multiple dimension metrics to improve KPIs for inventory level, inventory allocation, turnover, and cash flow;
7\. Forecast price, analyze customer purchasing patterns and market trends to optimize product assortment and pricing;
Collaborating with Marketing Department to aide with product Marketing and sales:
8\. Collaborate with marketing team in acquiring certain products for participation in each of the marketing campaigns;
9\. Work with market research analyst to determine volume and customer feedback and use the information gathered as reference in making purchases or aid negotiations;
10\. Evaluate supply requirements to ensure feasibility of campaign proposed by the marketing team, adjusting vendors and shipments for optimal health of supply chain to maintain profitability;
Vendor Relationship Development:
11\. Manage and maintain good vendor relationships and performance by deploying a standard set of metrics to improve vendors’ performance;
12\. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on platform promotions, marketing allocation, mark-downs, payment terms, and other special requests;
13\. Craft negotiation strategies and terms on price, payment, and lead time, and close purchasing deals;
Reporting Performance and Progress:
14\. Effectively communicate results of KPS and root cause analysis with the management team; 15\. Regularly report to management regarding progress and performance.
Requirement:
