Digital Designer

We’re seeking a Digital Designer to join our team at our Asheville office. While we will give preference to local talent who can be in-person, we will consider remote workers based in North Carolina.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Digital design for social media posts, blog graphics, and digital marketing materials including emails, digital ads, presentations, newsletters, and proposals
• Web design, including coding ability in HTML / CSS / basic JavaScript, knowledge of WCAG guidelines and responsive design best practices
• Design and creation of short animations/motion graphics to include in organic and paid marketing materials
• Video editing of our Slate 101 series and recorded presentations
• Email design and build, including responsive layouts, HTML/CSS, and understanding of SEO and email client best practices

This position's workload splits at around 35% web design and 65% digital design.

Experience with the Following Tools:

• Figma and/or Adobe Indesign (This is a must)
• Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• WordPress/Elementor/ACF
• Monday.com (preferred, not required)
• Slate CRM (preferred, not required)

Additional Preferred Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Digital Media, UX/UI Design, Graphic Design, or similar
• 3\+ years experience with web and digital design
• Ad / Creative Agency

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days:

• Completing and launching the company's new website (60% in-progress)
• Creating new look for proposal templates
