Job Description
Business Development \& Pipeline Management
- Support senior leadership throughout the entire business development process, from outbound outreach and inbound inquiries to discovery, pitching, closing opportunities, and capturing post-project success stories.
- Manage and maintain the business development pipeline across all inbound and outbound activity, ensuring CRM records in Monday.com remain accurate, organized, and up to date.
- Ensure every opportunity has clear ownership, actionable next steps, and consistent follow-through from initial contact to final outcome.
Pitch Development \& Marketing Collateral
- Lead the development of pitch responses by selecting relevant case studies, shaping strategic narratives, and presenting ideas in a compelling and differentiated way.
- Create and maintain capability decks, one-sheets, presentations, and other business development collateral while ensuring all materials meet a high creative and visual standard.
- Prepare and organize materials for pitch teams and producers to ensure seamless project handoffs and presentation readiness.
Research \& Relationship Management
- Conduct detailed research on prospective clients, including their industry landscape, competitors, recent initiatives, and potential business needs to strengthen outreach and strategy.
- Support ongoing relationship management across existing and prospective accounts, building trust and fostering long-term partnerships.
Operations \& Team Coordination
- Coordinate schedules, communications, and meeting logistics for the business development team, including calendar management, meeting preparation, note-taking, and follow-up communication.
- Participate in client meetings and pitch discussions when needed, contributing insights and documenting key takeaways and action items.
- Assist with weekly pipeline reviews, growth meetings, and executive reporting processes.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, strategy, growth, or within a creative agency environment.
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to interpret briefs and identify compelling narratives and opportunities.
- A strong appreciation for creative storytelling, design quality, and visual communication.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management abilities.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Monday.com, HubSpot, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with pitch creation, proposal writing, and presentation development.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and maintain long-term client connections.
- Based in New York City preferred; candidates must be available within the Eastern Time zone.
