Job Overview
Are you a licensed PE Structural Engineer (formerly SE Lateral and Vertical) who aspires to assist fellow engineers in preparing for the PE Structural exams? We are currently seeking instructors to teach our exam review courses. The position is a part time position with most classes taking place on weekday evenings. There is flexibility in scheduling as you are able to submit your availability for scheduled classes and you are not required to teach the complete course. You can select the subjects you are most comfortable in providing instruction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare/edit course notes including but not limited to ensuring that all content is alignment with current exam specifications including question types, as well as acceptable reference materials
- Provide online instruction to students who are looking to prepare for the PE Structural exam
- Answer student questions relating to course content
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on current company content standards
Qualifications
- Licensed PE Structural Engineer (formerly SE Lateral and Vertical)
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Compensation
The compensation for this position averages out to be approximately $100 per hour.*
We are excited to add new members to our highly experienced team of instructors.
- Details around compensation will be review during the discussion with the VP and a sample contract will be provided.
