Job Description
UX Researcher – Dutch/French Bilingual
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct
qualitative UX research
across all stages of the design cycle, including discovery, concept validation and evaluative research.
- Develop research plans and select the most appropriate research methods based on project objectives and user needs.
- Collaborate closely with
UX/UI Designers, Concept Designers, Product Owners and Business Analysts
within Agile project teams.
- Organize and manage user research activities, including participant recruitment, test preparation, research materials, dry runs and test logistics.
- Conduct user interviews, usability tests and other qualitative research activities, ensuring high-quality user insights.
- Analyze research findings and translate insights into
clear, actionable recommendations
for project teams and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present research reports and debrief stakeholders in a convincing and structured manner.
- Proactively identify research opportunities and introduce new research methods, frameworks and testing approaches.
- Act as a
UX Research ambassador
, promoting user research practices and helping project teams better integrate research into their delivery processes.
- Maintain and organize research documentation, insights, archives and other research assets to ensure long-term usability.
Experience Required
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in UX / User Research
, with a strong focus on qualitative research.
- Proven experience with diverse UX research methodologies such as
user interviews, usability testing, card sorting, diary studies and similar techniques
.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret research findings and translate them into clear, understandable and actionable reports.
- Experience working with stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams, with strong
stakeholder management and communication skills
.
- Experience working in a
corporate environment
is mandatory.
- Experience working in an
Agile environment
is preferred.
- Experience with unmoderated testing techniques and AI-supported research tools is an advantage.
- Experience in the
banking or financial services sector
is a plus.
- Native-level
Dutch or French is mandatory
; bilingual Dutch/French is highly preferred.
- Fluent written and spoken
English is mandatory
.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in
Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Human-Centred Design, Product Design or a related discipline
.
- Strong team player with a proactive, self-starting and collaborative approach.
- Able to influence stakeholders and communicate research insights effectively to both business and design teams.
