Akkodis is seeking a

Business Analyst

for a

Contract

with a client in

McLean, VA.

Candidate must have strong experience in UI design and development, a key qualification required for this role.

Rate Range:

$54/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst Job Responsibilities Include

• Analysing CICS screen flows and IMS database elements to map technical components to business needs.
• Designing user interfaces aligned with business processes by coordinating closely with the UX team.
• Reviewing analysis outcomes with business stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on requirements.
• Determining appropriate Postgres data elements for UI screens and defining logic for fetching data based on business rules.
• Creating Jira stories with clear acceptance criteria, test cases, and providing continuous clarification to the development team.
• Coordinating multiple workstreams, tracking action items, and ensuring timely closure across different initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 Years of experience required.
• Strong background in UI design/development with the ability to understand and translate business processes into effective screen designs.
• Proven capability in analysing CICS screen flows, IMS/Postgres data elements, and creating clear Jira stories with acceptance criteria.

Pay Details:

$54\.00 to $56\.00 per hour
