District Sales Executive (DSE)

who thrives in a dynamic environment and is driven by results, growth, and competition.

Scope of Position

The District Sales Executive is responsible for

generating new business and driving revenue growth

aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.

You will orchestrate internal resources, build external relationships, and lead the sales process end-to-end to consistently secure new customer revenue for the district and the global network.

Job Description (What Success Looks Like)

A successful DSE is constantly building and converting pipeline.

You will:

  • Own and manage a sales territory with strong knowledge of customers and competitors
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline
  • Lead the sales process, coordinating internal teams and resources to win business
  • Orchestrate customer relationships alongside internal stakeholders (Product, Service, Geo, Knowledge Management)
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships and expand market presence
  • Develop value-added logistics solutions, including cost-benefit scenarios and commercial proposals
  • Ensure accurate and timely CRM updates to reflect pipeline activity and progress
  • Drive successful onboarding of new accounts, including customer introductions, documentation, and internal alignment
  • Support accounts receivable follow-up when required
  • Participate in training and continuous development to strengthen selling skills and product knowledge
  • Represent Expeditors in local networking events and trade groups to generate opportunities
  • Take ownership of additional initiatives that support district growth

Qualifications

  • Ability to meet customers off-site on a regular basis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability for results
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to perform in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Comfortable managing multiple opportunities and priorities
