Job Description

For our client, we are seeking a Group Chief Technology Officer to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Media environment.

Location: Washington, DC - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $281,358 – $478,309 annually

Responsibilities

  • Set and own technology direction for DMX, focusing on AI and its impact on federal modernization
  • Engage with CXOs and federal leaders to develop transformation roadmaps and build trusted relationships
  • Shape technical strategy for high-priority projects, including solution architecture and pricing
  • Create scalable delivery patterns across technology domains, emphasizing the role of AI
  • Lead technology evaluations and client demonstrations to enhance customer engagement
  • Provide architecture and engineering oversight, ensuring initiatives align with value delivery
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and translate insights into actionable recommendations

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience building or scaling AI-first technology in production
  • Strong understanding of AI's capabilities in regulated mission environments, with a critical perspective on industry trends
  • Hands-on technical leadership in a fast-paced AI or software product setting, demonstrating actual execution
  • Experience shaping captures and proposals in high-stakes environments, ideally with some federal experience
  • Depth in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data engineering, plus baseline cybersecurity knowledge
  • Proficiency in guiding architectural standards across multiple initiatives and teams
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, with an advanced understanding of relevant technologies
