Junior Account Manager, Nutritional Products, Pharma – Remote, US
Location: Remote, US
Join dsm‑firmenich as a Junior Account Manager, Nutritional Products – Pharma, supporting a globally recognized leader in essential nutrients and science‑backed health solutions. In this role, you will manage and grow a defined portfolio of pharmaceutical customers, driving sales performance aligned with dsm‑firmenich Nutritional Products objectives. You will build strong customer relationships, deliver tailored solutions, and ensure all activities reflect our standards of excellence, innovation, and sustainability. Candidates based on the East Coast are strongly preferred for proximity to key customers.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage sales of dsm‑firmenich Nutritional Products within the Pharma industry, achieving volume, pricing, and profitability targets.
- Monitor and analyze customer and product performance, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and deliver commercial proposals and pricing quotations to drive customer engagement, retention, and growth.
- Lead customer forecasting and demand planning activities across the assigned territory, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities, manage the sales pipeline through effective CRM usage, and champion innovation in the marketplace.
- Capture and communicate key market insights—including customer feedback, competitive actions, and pricing dynamics—to inform strategic decisions while ensuring full compliance with dsm‑firmenich SHE policies.

You Bring:
- 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, and/or a technical commercial role within a B2B environment.
- Pharma industry experience is a strong advantage, though not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage cross‑functional partners and support sales generation activities.
- A positive, goal‑oriented mindset with a proven drive to meet and exceed targets.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically; candidates based on the East Coast are preferred for proximity to key customers.
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $100,000-$115,000\.
In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
