Job Description

Purpose

Own the financials of Sulzer Business Services, Pune Hub: including end-to-end cost capture, spend/variance analysis, management reporting, transfer pricing \& chargebacks, value capture, and allocations that are fair, transparent, and audit ready. Build credible MBR/QBR insights, enable AOP/forecasting, and drive unit-economics \& cost-to-serve for SBS functions across Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Procurement, Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management \& Reporting

  • Lead month/quarter/year-end close for SBS cost centers; accruals, prepayments, intercompany reconciliations.
  • Build and publish Flash, MBR/QBR, and Executive packs with clear variance drivers and actions.
  • Maintain driver-based models: FTE, seat cost, towers, service lines, sites.
  • Partner with tower leads on AOP \& re-forecast; maintain forecast bridges and risk/opportunity logs.

Transfer Pricing, Chargebacks \& Allocations

  • Operate SBS transfer pricing: cost pooling, mark-up application, quarterly true-ups; maintain Intercompany Agreements (MSA, SOW, Addendums etc.)
  • Govern chargebacks: allocation drivers, rate cards, transparency, dispute resolution, SLA.
  • Standardize allocation methodologies; implement policy, cadence, and audit trail.

Value Capture \& Commercial Analytics

  • Quantify savings and value realization across sourcing, automation, footprint; validate with evidence.
  • Vendor spend analytics: actuals vs. budgets, unit price trends, renegotiation opportunities.
  • Cost-to-serve analytics by function/customer; advise on pricing/portfolio decisions.

Controls, Compliance \& Audit

  • Ensure SOX control performance, documentation, and audit readiness for SBS processes.
  • Maintain master data hygiene (cost/profit centers, WBS, mapping tables) and data lineage.
  • Align with Ind-AS where relevant; support statutory/transfer pricing documentation with Tax/Legal.

Data, Tools \& Automation

  • Own dashboards for SBS Finance; automate using PowerBI or any other visualization tools (nice-to-have).
  • Drive standard templates for reporting, allocations, and chargeback invoices; improve data quality.

Stakeholder \& Change Management

  • Run MBR/QBR with tower leads and Head of Finance office; action tracking and follow-through.
  • Communicate finance policies/changes and train stakeholders on allocations/chargeback logic.

Qualifications \& Experience

  • CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) with 7–12 years in GBS/Controllership/FP\&A
  • Strong exposure to transfer pricing operations, chargebacks/allocations, and management reporting.
  • Hands-on with SAP, Advanced Excel, Power BI
  • Familiarity with SOX/ICFR, IFRS/Ind-AS, and India GST/WHT implications on intercompany billing.
  • Proven stakeholder management across global functions; executive-ready communication.
