Apple's Strategic Data Solutions team is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager

to help scale Apple's Operations in the Fulfillment space. Do you thrive at the intersection of

Description

• Define program strategy and drive prioritization of engineering work in alignment with long-
• term roadmap vision, balancing impact, cost, resourcing, timeline, and risk
• Establish and communicate program strategy, success metrics, and progress to both technical
• teams and senior leadership
• Lead cross-functional programs from inception through delivery and ongoing monitoring,
• maintaining alignment across engineering, business, and operations stakeholders
• Build and maintain partnerships with key business and engineering stakeholders across
• multiple teams to ensure alignment and drive program outcomes
• Continually identify and drive opportunities for process improvement
• Own and manage business-critical metrics in close partnership with machine learning
• engineers, ensuring operational health and program performance
• Get into the details on analytical projects and critical metrics; dive deep with the team to solve
• complex challenges
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, bringing structure and clarity to ambiguous
• situations with competing priorities
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy, exercising sound judgment and knowing when to
• escalate or seek guidance

Minimum Qualifications

• BS/MS in any analytical, quantitative, or technical field (engineering, math, computer science,
• finance, analytics, statistics, or similar), or equivalent experience
• Experience structuring and leading large cross-functional technical or analytical programs
• Ability to perform business discovery, simplify and define problems, extract key information,
• and propose innovative analytic approaches - including in areas outside own core expertise
• Proven ability to drive change through positive influence of co-workers, leadership, and
• business partners
• Ability to learn and provide in-depth evaluations of complex engineering and analytic issues
• Skilled at using data to present, advocate for, and prioritize among solutions
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with individuals at all levels and develop
• close partnerships across engineering and business teams
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities, ensure all perspectives are heard, and make sound
• recommendations under ambiguity
• Clear, confident communicator who can adapt between technical detail and executive-level
• storytelling
• Track record of influencing through metrics, vision, and collaborative leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in engineering, data analysis, machine learning, or operations would be
• beneficial but is not required
• Inquisitive mindset with a drive for continued self-improvement and development of new
• skills
