Role Description

The Academic Counselor (Rewari) will work full time on-site, guiding prospective and current learners through academic and career pathways at Catalyst School of Business. Daily responsibilities include meeting with students to understand their goals, providing academic advising, and helping them select appropriate programs and courses. The role involves offering personalized career counseling, supporting students in aligning their education with professional aspirations, and tracking their progress to ensure timely interventions when needed. The Academic Counselor will also conduct counseling sessions, participate in admission and orientation activities, maintain accurate student records, and collaborate with faculty and administrative staff to enhance learner experience. This position is based at the CSB campus in Rewari and requires ongoing engagement with students, guardians, and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in Student Counseling and Academic Advising to support learners throughout their educational journey.
  • Strong Communication abilities to interact effectively with students, guardians, faculty, and administrative staff.
  • Experience or training in Career Counseling to help learners connect academic choices with professional goals.
  • Background or interest in Education, preferably within higher education, professional training, or business-focused institutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Business, or a related field; advanced qualifications or counseling certifications are an advantage.
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse learners, handle sensitive information with discretion, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple student cases, schedules, and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Comfort working with digital tools and student information systems; familiarity with business or management education is a plus.
