Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and self-motivated
Sales Operations Analyst \& Coordinator
to serve as a critical link between our strategic sales goals and operational execution. This role is designed for a professional who thrives on "owning" their domain—specifically across portfolio management, CRM process, pricing integrity, and sales enablement.
As a primary lead on sales enablement projects, you will be expected to drive initiatives with minimal guidance, transform complex data into actionable insights, and maintain systems and process that allow our sales team to win.
Key Responsibilities
1\. Pricing \& Financial Stewardship
- Pricing Management:
Execute and maintain pricing lists and systems to ensure total accuracy and consistency across all platforms. Support with daily Customer Pricing activity to ensure accurate and timely order flow and accurate billing.
- Revenue Management:
Lead tracking, analysis, research, and resolution of discounts and allowances, ensuring spend is accurately accounted for, internal stakeholders are aware and engaged to resolve, and disputes are resolved efficiently.
2\. CRM \& System Administration
- CRM Execution:
Manage the daily health of CRM, including data hygiene, workflow optimization, and user adoption.
- Portfolio Management:
Support in master product portfolio management within our systems, ensuring all product data is current for the sales organization.
- Reporting \& Forecasting:
Create performance dashboards and automate reports to help sales managers track opportunities and pipeline health.
- SAP Integrity:
Ensure CRM, SAP and all reporting systems are accurate and consistent.
3\. Trade Marketing Support
- Industry Relations:
Support in industry relations events (Trade Show) coordination, planning, and execution.
- Internal Sales Communications:
Supports with meeting content and creation, sales communications, and management of SharePoint for sales resources.
4\. Sales Enablement \& Project Leadership
- Project Ownership:
Support in sales enablement initiatives from conception to completion. You will be expected to identify bottlenecks in the sales process and implement system or process-based solutions.
- SOP Creation:
Build and document SOPs across Sales Operations to train and support for consistent and reliable execution.
- Cross-Functional Liaison:
Support Director by coordinating efforts between Trade Marketing, PMO, Brand, Operations and Sales.
5\. Analytics \& Modeling
- Model Building:
Create sophisticated Excel models to forecast sales trends, track KPIs, and analyze the impact of business decisions.
- Reporting:
Extract and consolidate sales and operational data from various sources (e.g., SAP, Excel, CRM tools) to build accurate and actionable reports; Generate regular and ad-hoc reports that provide clear visibility into sales plans and performance metrics.
- Insights
: Glean actionable insights from data analysis to inform strategic decisions, optimize sales outcomes, and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Minimum of 4 years in sales, sales operations, trade marketing, or a high-level analytical or multi-tasking role (CPG industry preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
(VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Power Query, macros, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with
CRM management
tool
- Experience with TPM solution preferred
- SAP experience
strongly preferred
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive change
