Salary:

£35,859 – £65,000 depending on experience

Outsource UK are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a growing design and engineering team delivering innovative building services solutions across a range of projects.

The Role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will support the delivery of high-quality mechanical design solutions on a variety of building and infrastructure projects. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the design, development and delivery of efficient engineering solutions while ensuring projects meet quality, cost and time objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering mechanical design solutions for building services projects.
• Managing technical elements of smaller projects or specific components of larger projects.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams to ensure integrated and coordinated project delivery.
• Preparing and contributing to technical proposals and project documentation.
• Presenting technical design solutions to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Supporting project delivery to ensure compliance with quality standards, budgets and timelines.
• Reviewing mechanical engineering project deliverables to ensure technical accuracy and quality.

Skills \& Experience

• BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards chartership.
• Previous experience working in a consultancy or engineering design environment.
• Experience in mechanical building services design.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage technical deliverables and contribute to project success within multidisciplinary teams.
