🔍 About the Role
We’re looking for an
eCommerce QA Manager
to own quality across the entire digital commerce journey—from product discovery to checkout and post‑purchase flows.
As eCommerce QA Manager, you will define and drive the
quality strategy for customer‑facing platforms
, ensuring flawless releases, robust automation, and zero tolerance for checkout failures. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to protect conversion, revenue, and customer trust—especially during peak traffic events.
You will also play a key role in
modernizing QA practices
, including automation, CI/CD integration, and selective AI‑driven testing approaches.
âś… Key Responsibilities
- Quality Strategy \& Roadmap
- Define and execute the QA strategy, balancing manual testing excellence with scalable automation.
- Conversion \& Revenue Protection
- Oversee rigorous testing of checkout funnels, payment gateways, promotions, and third‑party integrations (ERP, CRM, OMS).
- Automation \& CI/CD Leadership
- Expand automated regression coverage across web and mobile using modern frameworks, aligned with CI/CD pipelines.
- Release Management
- Act as the final
Go/No‑Go authority
for production releases and feature launches.
- Peak Traffic Readiness
- Lead load, stress, and performance testing for major events (e.g., Black Friday, sales campaigns, seasonal peaks).
- Team Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and scale QA teams while embedding quality ownership across squads.
- AI‑Driven QA Innovation
- Drive or support the adoption of
AI‑enabled testing and quality analytics
to improve efficiency and defect prediction.
đź§ Required Skills \& Experience
- Experience
- 9\+ years in Quality Assurance
- 5\+ years leading QA teams in
eCommerce or high‑traffic digital platforms
- eCommerce \& Platform Expertise
- Strong experience with platforms such as
Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
- Deep understanding of checkout flows, payments, promotions, and integrations
- Automation \& Tools
- Hands‑on experience with
Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
- API testing using
Postman or similar tools
- CI/CD‑aligned testing strategies
- Quality \& Analytics
- Strong analytical mindset for defect analysis and site health monitoring
- Advanced use of
JIRA
for defect tracking and reporting
- Leadership \& Communication
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders
- Languages
- Fluent English
- Russian language is highly appreciated
