KSA Special Project Implementation Manager

The KSA Special Project Manager will be responsible for the execution of any special project in KSA Gen Int pipeline starting by the implementation of EOMS (Engie Operation and Maintenance Saudi) Project.
EOMS special project consist in (1) assess the feasibility to merge the 3 Engie 100% companies constituted in KSA as FOMC, J3B O\&M and Y4 O\&M to operate as one integrated entity, And Or (2) create an operation and maintenance company to provide an integrated O\&M services to FOMC, J3B O\&M and Y4 O\&M. The project feasibility and benefit evaluation will be basis in cost – risk benefit by assessing the legal and contractual governance document (PWPAs, WPAs, PPAs, OMAs, SHAs, LAs, PGCs) as well as O\&M synergies, financial obligation and organization benefit.
The project will then extend to other entities such as DHOM and JOMEL and serve as a platform for further expansion of Engie in KSA.
The special Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading the EOMS project through its different phases.
- Coordinating relevant matters related to the project with all internal and external stakeholders (PGMs, CEOs, lenders, and off- takers).
- Following up on the proper execution of the different case of the project and bringing in solutions to any problem that may arise, in coordination with the KSA management team.
- Define and implement a project execution plan including resources and timing, including the following workstreams:
- Legal due diligence.
- Operation and Maintenance synergies.
- Procurement and inventory management synergies.
- Financial aspects.
- Human resources aspects and synergies.
Reporting
- The Special project manager will report to the Managing Director Gen Int KSA.
Key Accountabilities
During all phases of the project:
- Prepare a comprehensive project execution plan, including project budget for each phase, monitor and report budget variances.
- Lead the project execution in coordination with the different workstreams.
- Follow the progress of the project with a schedule and report on any deviation with the project execution plan and its timeline.
- Prepare medium and long-term budget forecasts and business case for scope or entity.
- Conduct and/or coordinate and control all (internal) interfaces with the different work streams listed above.
- Oversight and the progress of the site activities by ensuring that the budget are not exceeded.
Authority
- Ensure the projects are executed within the approved budget for each workstream and report to Managing Director Generation International KSA.
Education
- University degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, Finance, MBA or similar
Language
- Fluency in English mandatory.
- Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
Experience
- Management skills.
- 15\+ years of experience in a senior position in the power / energy sector.
Competencies
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and leadership skills. Strong financial background and excellent. knowledge of the energy markets.
- Must be able to work independently and being integrated in an international team.
Technology
- Preferably combined cycle power plant and desalination plant experience.
Other
- Ability to work in a broad cultural spectrum.
