Position Overview

Compensation Analyst I

, you will provide technical expertise in compensation programs and initiatives. You will participate in salary surveys, analyze market data, conduct job evaluations, and make recommendations to leaders. This role involves collaboration across multiple teams, supporting organizational goals, and delivering training and presentations to leaders and associates.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in planning, designing, and implementing compensation programs
  • Conduct job evaluations, review job descriptions, and determine salary grades and FLSA status
  • Advise recruitment teams on candidate salary recommendations
  • Participate in salary surveys and analyze market data
  • Respond to compensation-related inquiries from internal and external customers
  • Interpret federal and state regulations related to compensation
  • Develop and deliver training and presentations on compensation programs
  • Prepare business reports and metrics to support HR initiatives

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Experience:
  • 1–3 years in human resources (compensation experience preferred)
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
