Senior Legal Counsel

We are working with a highly regarded boutique law firm seeking a Senior Counsel to join its practice. This role is specifically targeted at candidates with a strong litigation background at an Am Law 100 firm, who have developed deep expertise managing discovery in complex, high-stakes matters.

This is a senior, client-facing position where you will lead engagements, advise on sophisticated discovery issues, and operate as a strategic partner to both clients and trial counsel.

What you’ll be doing:

• Advising on eDiscovery strategy across complex litigations and investigations

• Drafting high-quality legal work product, including motions, ESI protocols, protective orders, and defensibility memoranda

• Leading discovery workstreams and coordinating with litigation teams, co-counsel, and experts

• Supporting hearings, meet-and-confers, and custodian interviews

• Translating litigation strategy into practical, defensible discovery approaches

• Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to team development

• Supporting business development and thought leadership initiatives

What they’re looking for:

• 10\+ years of experience with a foundation in litigation at an Am Law 100 firm

• Deep, hands-on experience managing eDiscovery in complex disputes and regulatory investigations

• Excellent drafting skills with the ability to produce client-ready work with minimal oversight

• Strong client management skills and experience leading matters

• Familiarity with data privacy and information governance frameworks

• Active engagement in industry groups or demonstrated thought leadership is a plus

• J.D. and admission to a U.S. bar (additional admissions as needed)
