About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading global investment advisory firm, is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Technology team with a focus on Workday platform management and enhancement. This role will lead Workday initiatives, oversee platform upgrades, support modular deployments, and facilitate integrations with other enterprise systems. The Assistant Vice President will play a key role in driving strategic technology projects, collaborating across business units, and maintaining a robust, secure, and high-performing Workday foundation for the organization.
The annual base salary range is $140,000 to $170,000\. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee Workday-related projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines
- Develop and implement Workday system upgrades, enhancements, and new module rollouts
- Manage configuration, testing, and deployment processes across Workday modules, including HCM, Financials, Talent Management, and Recruiting
- Support platform rollout across business verticals and drive adoption
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective Workday solutions
- Manage integration efforts between Workday and other enterprise platforms, ensuring seamless data flow
- Monitor daily user experience, platform stability, and performance
- Contribute to program management for Workday utilization, reporting rationalization, and platform adoption
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, finance, or a closely related field
- Minimum 5 years managing enterprise applications, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Workday
- Deep expertise in Workday product functionalities and configuration
- Strong technical skills in Workday integrations, including web services and APIs
- Experience with Workday implementation, consulting, or business administration
- Capacity to learn and leverage additional technology tools, including Azure, data visualization, and analytics platforms
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively across stakeholder groups
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of troubleshooting complex issues
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities
