Procurement and Quality Control Manager
We are searching for…
A highly trustworthy and well organised professional ensuring
corporate governance, regulatory adherence, risk mitigation, and audit readiness
across non‑productive purchasing, facility management and ISO quality processes
Fulltime job (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week),
definite duration for 2 years (maternity leave cover)

Task Description
Procurement Governance and Internal Controls
- Own and enforce non‑productive purchasing governance, ensuring full compliance with Daimler/Mercedes‑Benz policies and local purchasing guidelines
- Continuously monitor and maintain approval schemes, authority levels, and control mechanisms
- Act as key contact for procurement compliance, ensuring proper segregation of duties and transparent decision‑making
- Conduct regular internal audits, identify deviations, and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Prepare tenders, evaluate offers, and provide fact‑based analyses to support informed and transparent decision‑making
- Ensure fair, objective, and data‑driven supplier evaluation and performance management
- Build and maintain professional, trust‑based relationships with suppliers and act as a reliable, independent interface between suppliers and internal departments,
- Support completeness, accuracy, traceability, and compliance of contractual documentation
Financial Governance and Cost control
- Oversee budget planning, forecasting, and actuals with strong cost‑control discipline for the procurement and facility cost centers
- Monitor spending patterns and ensure expenditures align with approved budgets and governance frameworks
Facility Management
- Act as key account manager for Lessor and Facility Management
- Ensure compliance in facility‑related procurement, maintenance, and refurbishment activities
- Control FM‑related contract execution, invoicing, and cost center governance
Quality Control / ISO audit
- Act as key account manager for ISO audits and Quality Control measures
- Prepare and monitor ISO documentation, questionnaires, and procedures
- Coordinate with external ISO auditors and consultants to ensure audit readiness and compliance
Requirements and skills
- University or college degree, with minimum
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong digital mindset with confidence in modern systems, automation tools, and data‑driven workflows.
- Excellent communication skills in English and native Hungarian (German advantage).
- Highly independent, trustworthy, and committed to governance and compliance.
- Structured, organized, detail‑oriented working style with a focus on transparency.
- Proactive, self‑driven personality with strong negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
