We would like to meet a Data Engineer ETL/ELT

for a project with a

hybrid

working model in

Lisbon

, Portugal (2x/week at the office).

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

ETL/ELT pipelines

to support data integration and processing.

• Develop and optimize

SQL

queries and data transformation workflows.

• Build and maintain

data warehouse

and

data lake

solutions.

• Manage and monitor

job scheduling

and workflow orchestration using

VTOM

,

Virtual-M

, or similar tools.

• Ensure

data quality

,

lineage

, and

metadata accuracy

across data platforms.

• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize ETL performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and

French-speaking stakeholders

to deliver data solutions.

• Contribute to

automation

,

documentation

, and continuous improvement of data engineering processes.

• Follow

data governance

,

security

, and operational best practices.

Requirements:

• 3\+ years of experience

in

ETL/ELT development

and

data integration

.

• Strong experience with

Semarchy

,

Stambia

,

Talend

,

DataStage

, or similar ETL tools.

• Solid knowledge of

SQL

,

data modeling

,

data warehouses

, and

data lakes

.

• Experience with

VTOM

,

Virtual-M

, or other

workflow scheduling/orchestration

tools.

• Proficiency in

UNIX/Linux

, including

shell scripting

,

awk

, and

sed

.

• Knowledge of

data quality

,

data lineage

, and

metadata management

.

• Experience in

debugging

,

troubleshooting

, and production support.

• Python

knowledge is a

plus

.

• Familiarity with

cloud data platforms

(preferably

GCP

),

cloud-native ETL tools

, and

data governance

is an

advantage

.

• Knowledge of

Spark

,

Hadoop

,

CI/CD

, and

DevOps practices

is a

plus

.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree

in

Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering

, or a related field.

• Fluent English

and

French (minimum B2)

are mandatory.
