Welder

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder for a full-time, on-site position at our facility in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In this role, the Welder will be responsible for fabricating and welding aluminum and steel components to meet specific design requirements. Daily tasks include TIG and MIG welding, interpreting technical drawings, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and collaborating with other team members in our production environment. The role may also involve inspecting materials and finished products to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in TIG Welding, and MIG Welding techniques
• Strong knowledge of various materials, including aluminum and steel
• Ability to interpret and work from technical blueprints, shop drawings, and design specifications
• Familiarity with safety protocols and quality control in metal fabrication
• Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ornamental and architectural metal fabrication is a plus
• Reliable work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Completion of a welding certification program or equivalent experience preferred
• 3\+ years of aluminum fabrication and welding experience
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Completion of a satisfactory background check
