About the Company

: Our client is a $50M commercial construction firm based in Nashville, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across corporate offices, retail environments, mixed-use developments, and commercial renovations. With deep roots in the Tennessee market and an active footprint across the greater Nashville metro area, the company has built its success on operational discipline, client relationships, and consistent execution. Due to continued growth and market demand, the firm is launching a new commercial remediation division, a strategic expansion into a high-demand, recurring-revenue sector.

About the Role

: We are seeking a Vice President of Remediation to build and lead this new division from the ground up. This is not a maintenance role, it is a builder’s role. You will operate as a division leader with full P\&L responsibility, tasked with developing the service offering, driving business development, and scaling operations across the Tennessee market. This position is designed as a succession track to President, offering a rare opportunity to architect and lead a business unit within an established platform.

Responsibilities

:

  • Build and launch the commercial remediation division
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy targeting commercial clients
  • Establish relationships across property managers, developers, and commercial stakeholders
  • Lead operations, project execution, and team development
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting and profitability
  • Collaborate with internal teams to leverage existing infrastructure and support
  • Scale the division into a market-leading remediation platform

Qualifications

:

  • Commercial remediation, restoration, or construction leadership
  • Experience as a General Manager, Operations Leader, or Division Head
  • Strong business development capability (this is critical)
  • Proven ability to build client relationships and generate revenue
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on leadership style
  • Highly organized, communicative, and execution-focused
