We're working with an established and passionate global customer engagement agency seeking to hire a creative and innovative

Industrial Design Manager (a leadership position)

to join their busy and growing team working on

recognizable consumer products within the hard goods/hard line space.

Salary:

$130,000-$155,000/year \+ Bonus

Experience Required:

• 10 years proven experience as a practicing industrial designer for consumer hard goods

(will consider a mix of industry background as long as the product background is diverse)

• 5\+ years leading an Industrial Design team or studio with direct report responsibility
• Ability to be creative and innovative; expanding thinking on shape/form/material
• Strong sketching and conceptualization skills
• Solid understanding of Design for Manufacturability methods
• Ability to assess project risks impacting Industrial Design and recommend mitigations
• Possess a good understanding of various production \& engineering processes – how they influence design and fabrication
• Comfortable with ‘progression’ in the context of multiple iterations of testing and learning
• Proficiency within Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, KeyShot, Solidworks, Rhinoceros or other 3D CAD experience
