Data & Indexing Engineer

Every score Thority publishes rests on data being correct and current. You will build the pipelines that pull contract and permission state across chains and keep them fast, accurate, and observable.

What you'll do

• Design and run multi-chain indexing for contracts, roles, and permission changes.
• Keep evaluation data fresh, correct, and reconciled against on-chain state.
• Build the alerts that fire the moment control shifts on a tracked protocol.
• Make the data layer observable so problems surface before scores do.

What we're looking for

• Strong backend engineering with production data pipelines at scale.
• Hands-on experience indexing EVM chains and decoding contract state.
• A bias for correctness: tests, reconciliation, and clear failure modes.
• Comfort owning a system end to end, from schema to on-call.

Nice to have

• Experience with subgraphs, custom indexers, or streaming data systems.
• Familiarity with multiple L1s and L2s.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $165K to $215K, based on experience, plus equity and benefits. The range is shown up front so you know where you stand before the first call.
