Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and experience in a related field. Must possess and keep a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

: Must have field training as a general carpenter. Be able to reason through existing structures and determine how renovations can occur in the field.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Provide carpentry work on projects as required.
• Perform repairs on structures.
• Completes assigned work requests.
• Promotes and uses best safety practices.

Trades Specialist IV (KC40/61121643/FTE-S01196P), full-time position with benefits.

SC State Pay Grade: GEN07

. Salary range: $40,086\.00 (minimum) – $54,162\.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.

Oral, written and computer skills. Ability to comprehend blueprints, plans and specifications. Must be able to proficiently operate computers, calculators, copiers, telephones, power tools, saws, ladders and vehicles.
