Vice President of Product Management

The Opportunity

Our client, a highly rated mutual Property \& Casualty carrier, is seeking a commercial product leader to take ownership of a growing Small Commercial portfolio positioned for significant growth.

This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, underwriting, pricing, and distribution, with full P\&L responsibility for profitability and performance.

Our client is an established, multi-state insurance carrier focused on small commercial business, distributed through a strong network of independent agents.

What you will be doing

You’ll own the strategy and performance of a growing

Small Commercial / BOP portfolio

, with full responsibility for profitability and results.

• Set product strategy and drive initiatives that improve growth and performance
• Partner with underwriting, claims, and distribution to shape approach and execution
• Monitor results, lead rate actions, and adjust based on market and performance trends
• Develop new products and enhance existing offerings to stay competitive
• Oversee regulatory filings and ensure compliance
• Act as the connector across product, underwriting, and distribution teams

What you need to succeed

• 6\+ years in product management with proven

Small Commercial product experience.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into decisions
• Experience owning or influencing product performance and profitability
• Ability to lead your own team and influence manage cross-functionally including senior stakeholders
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving environment
