Position Summary
The
Associate, Analytics \& Insights
will join the Destination \& Experiences team, working closely with senior leaders across a portfolio of owned and operated businesses spanning Attractions, Hospitality/Restaurants, and Partnerships.
This role supports the business analytics and performance function by analyzing key drivers of growth, monitoring performance, and enabling day-to-day and executive-level decision-making. The position is highly business-facing, with responsibility for delivering accurate, timely insights and contributing to executive-ready materials.
In parallel, the Associate will play a key role in building a more scalable analytics capability-developing dashboards, working with data models, and leveraging AI‑enabled tools to automate reporting and improve efficiency. The role requires a balance of strong business judgment and hands-on technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analytics \& Performance Support
- Support analytics across operating businesses, including Attractions, Hospitality/Restaurants, and Partnerships
- Analyze key performance drivers such as revenue, demand, pricing, conversion, and guest/customer behavior
- Build and maintain weekly and monthly performance reporting
- Support forecasting, pacing analysis, and sales incentive reporting
Executive Support \& Structured Problem Solving
- Prepare executive updates, summaries, and leadership-ready presentations
- Structure business problems and translate data into clear, actionable insights
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support senior leadership decision-making
Data \& Dashboard Development
- Build and maintain dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) used by operators and leadership
- Write and maintain SQL queries to support reporting and analysis
- Work with data from ticketing, CRM, POS, and financial systems
- Validate outputs and reconcile data with Finance and Accounting partners
Automation \& AI Enablement
- Use Python, SQL, and automation tools to streamline reporting
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., LLMs, agent-based workflows, automation platforms) to reduce manual effort and improve speed
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring analyses and create reusable workflows
- Support experimentation with new tools to improve productivity and insight generation
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Finance \& Accounting
- Support initiatives spanning multiple business lines
- Ensure alignment between operational metrics and financial reporting
Skills \& Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in strategy consulting, analytics, data science, or a related field
- Strong academic performance from a top-tier university
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL (ability to write and troubleshoot independently)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Working knowledge of Python or other scripting/automation tools
- Comfort with structured and unstructured data from multiple systems
- Familiarity with AI tools and a strong interest in emerging technologies
Analytical \& Business Skills
- Strong structured problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (executive-ready materials)
- Ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations
