Job Description
The Marketing, Brand \& Communications Manager helps advance the firm’s visibility, reputation, and client engagement through integrated marketing, branding, content, public relations, and communications initiatives. Working closely with the Marketing \& Business Development (M\&BD) Director, attorneys, firm leadership, and members of the M\&BD team, this role manages key projects, develops compelling content, supports business development priorities, and supervises team members responsible for events, communications, and design.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Marketing \& Communications
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that support firm, practice group, industry, and attorney business development goals.
- Manage Events \& Communication Coordinator supporting the planning, promotion, and execution of firm-hosted events, webinars, sponsorships, conferences, and client programs.
- Manage the firm's editorial calendar and thought leadership pipeline, repurposing content across digital, social media, email, website, and event channels.
- Draft, edit, and maintain attorney biographies, practice descriptions, presentations, pitch content, and other client-facing marketing collateral.
- Monitor industry trends, campaign performance, and engagement analytics to identify opportunities to increase market awareness and client engagement.
- Collaborate with and manage the external PR firm relationship.
- Draft and edit attorney announcements, newsletters, executive communications, website content, social media posts, presentations, and other communications materials.
- Develop communications plans and promotional materials for internal and external firm events.
- Partner with attorneys and business professionals to develop clear, compelling, audience-focused messaging that meets firm standards for accuracy, tone, consistency, and brand compliance.
- Participate as an active member of firm committees as assigned.
- Perform other duties and support internal projects as requested by the Marketing \& Business Development Director.
Brand
- Manage the Graphic Design Coordinator in developing branded communications, invitations, on-site signage, event materials, visual content, infographics, presentations, and other collateral.
- Maintain and strengthen the firm's brand identity, voice, messaging, market positioning, and value proposition.
- Ensure consistent application of brand, messaging, style, and quality standards across communications and marketing materials.
- Support initiatives that enhance brand visibility through sponsorships, partnerships, speaking opportunities, community engagement, thought leadership, and market successes.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform branding strategies and positioning.
- Oversee the selection, purchase, and distribution of branded promotional items in coordination with the marketing team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or content marketing; law firm or professional services experience preferred.
- Experience managing, supervising, or mentoring team members or direct reports.
- Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and oral communication skills, with strong attention to grammar, spelling, tone, and detail.
- Strong understanding of brand management, content strategy, public relations, digital marketing, and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, resources, and stakeholder needs simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, diplomacy, and a client-service mindset, with the ability to work effectively with attorneys, business professionals, and firm leadership.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment as an innovative problem solver and engaged team player.
- Familiarity with the services and business model of a multi-practice law firm.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and marketing-related technologies.
- Limited travel required.

Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 per year. Actual pay will be based on experience, education, job-related knowledge, market indicators and internal pay equity.
