About the role:

To assist in the management / co-ordination of Maintenance service delivery to the Production departments to assume full responsibility for the Manufacturing Engineering Group in the absence of the Senior Engineering Manager. To manage / co-ordinate the skills development of all staff within the Production Engineering Department

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of preventive maintenance activities for all plant machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and continuous support for production operations.
• Support the planning and delivery of project activities, ensuring all work is completed in line with agreed specifications, timelines, and quality expectations.
• Contribute to building and implementing initiatives that promote a strong safety-focused culture within the Engineering department.
• Ensure full compliance with quality procedures and standards across the Manufacturing Engineering function, consistently meeting established departmental and site-wide performance targets.
• Assess current and future skill requirements within the Engineering team and support the development of workforce capabilities to align with long-term business needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leading role overseeing the maintenance team.
• Proven leadership experience within an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) engineering environment.
• English Fluency
