Job Description

This role leads the design and delivery of scalable, flexible, and cost-effective cloud-based data solutions to support enterprise data and business intelligence initiatives. The position is responsible for translating complex business requirements into strategic information architecture, guiding the implementation or modernization of a data warehouse, and establishing a strong foundation for enterprise reporting and analytics.

The individual in this role will help shape and lead organizational data initiatives, ensure data integrity and accessibility across systems, and develop long-term, sustainable data solutions that enable informed decision-making across the organization.

Salary Range:

$120,000-180,000 DOE

Role \& Responsibilities

  • Model and promote strong customer service and collaboration standards across internal teams.
  • Lead architecture design, rebuild, and optimization efforts for enterprise data warehouse environments.
  • Support organizational change management related to data initiatives, including implementation of data governance frameworks and supporting processes.
  • Provide technical leadership across the lifecycle of data initiatives, from architecture and design through solution delivery.
  • Evaluate and implement tools and applications used to access and analyze enterprise data across functional areas.
  • Document architecture and solution designs for both technical and business audiences.
  • Define enterprise data standards including business glossaries, KPI catalogs, critical data elements, and governance practices.
  • Establish data quality, security, and access controls while delivering governed semantic models and dashboards that serve as a trusted source of enterprise reporting.
  • Define best practices for data processes including ETL/ELT workflows, data storage strategies, and data cleansing practices to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Partner with leadership and technical teams to develop and execute a roadmap for enterprise data initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization across the organization to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
  • Lead requirements analysis and review to understand the impact of changes to business processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with development and technical services teams to support implementation and ongoing improvement of data solutions.

Required Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 7\+ years of experience designing and architecting enterprise data solutions, including implementation or modernization of data platforms.
  • Experience architecting cloud-based data solutions across multiple technologies, including modern data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake.
  • Strong experience working across multiple databases, data platforms, and integration technologies.
  • Experience working with diverse data types including financial, marketing, and regulated data (e.g., PII, PCI, PHI).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of database design patterns and structures used to support different analytical and operational use cases.
  • Experience identifying operational challenges and implementing strategies to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a collaborative and positive approach.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and innovative problem-solving ability.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
